Parties Matching Randoms is a Problem...

I don’t know about you guys but it gets annoying. Not everyone has time to put a tryhard team together in their life. How about a singles playlist or singles search filter for us semi-casuals? I am thinking along the lines of CoD mercenaries playlist.

Edit: How about a matching overhaul in general? Filters for matching parties with parties and more competitive playlists for the competitive players, None of this psyche profile crap.

Everyone could be happy if we unite as a community and make this glaring issue known and fixed.

I absolutely agree. The minority which are parties should not be given the outright advantage of matching disorganized randoms.

I myself wouldn’t mind extended search times if there was an optional filter for me to engage. You can have the choice to search normally of course. This could simply be integrated in the current system filters.

Its a major problem about MM BTB.
the fun to be had within the game diminishes severely because of such things.

Either adding a filter or having more playlists have party restrictions would help, but I bet that most unenlightened players (that don’t use forums or otherwise give and feedback) probably don’t care enough for this to be a big issue.

Unfortunately true but most players also don’t know what is good for the game IMO.

Yeah, exactly, what’s going for the game in your opinion. Do you really think it’s right for the minority of forums users to have that big of an influence on the player base as a whole?

We have in the past. Perhaps a system in game that users can vote for changes could be implemented? I am all for more input from more people. Subjects would be limited to what 343 puts up in the system if petitioned by the portion of the community who cares.

As a player that beats randoms all day, I agree. Sometimes my party goes way too long without playing another team and it gets pretty boring.

Well looks like its a problem on both sides of the spectrum. Solo search or party search filter would be nice.

The playlists with big party restrictions work really well, IMO. You might ask why must the player be punished if he wants to play with friends, but that brings up another question. Why must the random be punished if he wants to play alone? Big party restrictions help everyone.

I feel like I am still running into full teams (Im speaking of BTB) with small party randoms (teams of 2 to 3) on my team. I wish this feature would kick in more often.

I go into MLG to play good kids with my team, not to play a bunch of disorganized randoms. Fix the party system plz

Like I said the casual won’t be on Halo as much, I do agree a casual-like playlist would be great!

343i, a search filter to prefer randoms or parties would be greatly appreciated. A playlist only allowing parties or solo players would be greatly appreciated. Either one would be nice.

yea, they should make it so teams of 4 will ONLY play teams of 4’s. teams of 3’s could play with a random on their team vs 2 teams of 2 tho.

The 1-50 playlists of Halo 3 had no teams of singly matched player versus full teams.

Exactly why I don’t go into a playlist without a few friends. Either you get matched against MLG tryhards, full parties, or a combination of both. Did I forget the betrayels for weapons ? Get some friends that play Halo Reach and stop b itching about getting smashed by full parties.

All my friends blow or hate Reach. I can’t get them to play! I suppose I could go search for a clan or something but I shouldn’t have to do all that. I just want to get off work and play some fair fun games. I would hope we could get better player search features in the next halo. Why not take something actually good from CoD (Mercenaries playlist) and implement it? Surly we all know how useless psyche profile is. That could have actually been used for more search options.
