Particle Effects Need an Overhaul

I feel like the particle effects in Infinite, both multiplayer and campaign needs work. I know it might be considered minor to some, but it helps with the sense of realism. Explosions from anything look exactly the same. Big fire ball, little to no dust or scorch marks. Sparks from metal looks like a gif animation. When comparing effects of previous Halo’s or even games like No Man’s Sky, Halo Infinites particles are a sad comparison.

I also feel like Halo Infinite looks good, but too good. Everything is smooth and clean looking and too bright. It almost looks like we’re playing a cartoon or anime game or something. It doesn’t seem as gritty or realistic as past games, even compared to 4, and 5.

Yeah shooting down a phantom is nowwhere near as fun as it was in halo 3. Very minimal explosion and doesn’t drop a ton of debris. Just kind of blinks out of existance.

Really? I haven’t done that yet. I’ll keep my eyes peeled for that one. I just feel like textures were greatly improved for Infinite but at the cost of particles, animations, and lighting. The game just looks ok to me.

Yeah thats how I felt with multiplayer too.

The game looks okay for 2021.
