Doesn’t seem as bosslike as it used to be. Back in the good ol’ Halo Trilogy days, it felt and looked really deadly. It was pointy like a needle, and its firing noise sounded like a loud sting of impending doom. Halo 4’s LESS THAN BOSS Rifle was blue, round, and not pointy. It sounds like a space gun going PEW PEW! What you think?
The original halo trilogy + ODST beam rifle was better. Not only did it make a cooler sound, it had less aim assist, and because it looked like a sword, it was fun to melee with.
The original trilogy Beam rifle only looks and plays better because of nostalgia…lulwut?
It honestly doesn’t play any different.
I think the only real difference is that 4’s has more aim assist.
I do feel like from the player’s perspective the rifle is really nubby 
But play-wise, I looooove this gun.
