If you scroll to the bottom of the page theres the ESRB rating from rating pending to mature for blood and gore, violence, language and partial nudity. Is that reffering to cortana?
Yes
No, when the Didact comes out of his cryptum, he is nude until the armor assembles.
Of course Cortana!
Cortana used to be just an AI, now 343i is trying to turn her into some kind of -Yoink!- symbol.
Yes it is cortana. I hope you weren’t wanting another answer!

would you explain this a bit? I don’t quite understand this.

And… that is different… how?
The only thing that changed is… better graphics.
> Cortana used to be just an AI, now 343i is trying to turn her into some kind of -Yoink!- symbol.
How? They used an actual actor who captures the innocence yet seriousness of Cortana, if she was sexualized that’s a coincidence (the CEA version looks better anyway)
Also Bungie made her look naked in the first place, not 343
Contrary to what people say, the partial nudity is not for Cortana. It’s actually for Halo 2 Vista. When you achieve a certain error code, a window will pop up saying “-Yoink-.exe has stopped working” coupled with a picture of a Bungie Employee’s naked bottom.

I thought that error was removed in a TU because…you know… Butts.

Even if it’s removed in an update, they’re still obligated to include the rating due to non-patched copies still floating out there.

Although the fact about Bungie employee’s bottom is true, the “Partial Nudity” in the rating also refers to Cortana, I believe.
Yes. It actually caught my attention when i saw that, but then again, they made her appearance look more…human, which, imo was done perfectly.

Do people really think this? Like… forget ya’ll

You say that as if Cortana wasn’t ever NOT a -Yoink!- symbol. Well, maybe in CE.
Why weren’t previous Halo games rated for nudity then?
Probably better graphics, which better portray Cortana’s feminine features.

Cortana used to just look plain and have symbols flashing up and down her body to show that she was a computer. Now she just looks like a naked woman with obvious curves. Play Halo 1 and 2 and compare it to how 343i has her looking in Halo 4.

What about the light pulses constantly flowing up and down her hologram? In my experience, non-computer women don’t have those.
