Partial Bloom is absolutely terrible after playing ZB

Zero bloom has its problems and I feel as if the death times are too fast. But, zero bloom needs to stay. Randomness in any amount is awful and takes away the skill factor. I notice that I’m able to actually dominate with ZB and make my opponents look inferior. When I switch from ZB to bloom it is amazing to realize how much bloom makes you miss. Bloom in any form is terrible. Make guns shoot slower or have more recoil. But do not add a random element into the game.

If Bungie really wanted to nerf the precision weapons to prevent them from dominating the weapon sandbox, they should have just slapped on recoil or put a slower rate of fire on the DMR. Seriously. That’s all that’s needed.

I agree 100%…well said…gives bad players a chance when they really should just be moving on to another game lol

I know it is off topic but isn’t it sad that gears 3 made the same mistakes that reach made. They added too many two variables and they completely altered the core style that gears 1 and 2 brought. Gears is all about camping with lancers instead of using the gnasher. I’m all for change. But, you can’t take away the main aspects that made the franchise.

I’ve only got to play ZB (on Tempest) once but I hate going back to 100% after playing 85%. To me it just feels better.

Bloom is a simulation of firing a semi-auto rapidly. When you fire it recoils and throws aim off. Bloom simulates that. It should stay.
