A lot of people have been pointing out the strange choices in Props used in the production so far. Such as people finding a Chevy truck in the background of a scene and plenty of people fighting with AK-47s that somehow have been in use since 1947 to the 2550s.
My question is why not have the production use other props?
For the Chevy Tahoe, they could have stripped its frame down and added on pieces to make it resemble the Spade truck from Halo Reach (the trucks that the farmers of mission 1 had that Noble Team used to get around the map)
And as for the weapons props… why not use SRU-Precision’s weapon conversion kits? Other movies with sci-fi settings use them. So why not use a few from this 3D-printing company to make your props a bit more believable in the setting? Some links to provide images to what I am referring to -

Heck, SR Union can even provide the extras with prop-armor that actually looks like it fits into Halo’s design norms (save for the helmets it would seem.)

Thoughts anyone?
