I’ve been thinking about the story of 5 and I feel like the bare bones are very similar to older games.
I’ll start with pending doom (reach)

A new daunting foe arises to wipe humans off the galaxy. Cov/the AIs - All the Spartans die off besides a select few. (No one died yet…it’s coming) - A ship flees at random cordinates pillar/infinity - The legendary ending of five shows a ring being activated so the next few are kind fan theories.Then we get into my guesses of a future story line.

Random cordinates lead to a halo ring - The flood comes back and the main characters must defeat them again - More pending doom - Cortana is basically gravemind but with the prometheans and AIs - We go to the control hub of the domain and destroy it just like that punk the ark.
