This has been bugging me recently. Palmer, a Spartan in the latest and greatest Mjolnir armor, sustains enough injuries in the Pelican to cause her to limp at the end of H5. Halsey, a normal human, seems to have come out with no physical injuries at all. The two were in close proximity to each other on the Pelican, so what explains this discrepancy? Or is it simply coincidence and not something to be analyzed?
Palmer probably took the brunt of it while protecting Halsey, hence why she’s all beaten and battered up.
Any type of collision, be it a car, train or plane can result in all sort of freak injuries and or miracles. Think about some plane crashes where two people sitting next to each other. One could die and the other nearly unscathed. So I don’t question it in this case with Hasley and Palmer.
Could be multiple things that caused the situation to happen as it did. Likely not much different to real life accidents where someone can die while another person near them can receive lesser injuries.
