Does anyone knows What’s the story behind this facility?
The Palace of Pain was/is a facility within Zeta Halo, used by Faber of Will and Might (The Master Builder) to conduct sickening experiments on Humans in order to find a cure for the Flood, since some Humans were seen to be immune to the infection (which was a lie).
In Primordium, instances where a character mentions the Palace causes natives of the ring to shudder. Because once someone was taken, they’d never come back.
Even after Zeta Halo was taken by Mendicant after being corrupted by the Primordial, tests were still being ran in the Palace of Pain specifically because it amused the Timeless One.
Another simple question that could have been answered by simply Googling it or going to Halopedia.
