Pace of play is to slow, not enough quick action.

I personally find the pace of play is way to slow. There are multiple games I’ve played of regular slayer where the game is 4 mins in and the wining team only has 15 kills. The game finally ends up getting to 50 kills after 10 mins or more of play time. I think the maps are to big or structured in a way that eliminates the ability to quickly jump back into battle after you spawn. It shouldn’t take 10 plus minutes to complete a game of slayer in halo.

Big team slayer isn’t fun at all in my opinion. I spend more time sprinting to enemies than I do in actual battle. They need to fix this, there isn’t enough quick action to maintain my interest in playing.

This is halo, not COD and infinite is fast paced for a halo game so halo is clearly not the game for you.

I’ve played every halo game before this And in non of them is there as little action as there is in this game.

Not really, the pace is fast enough, and a lot of people are feeling that the strafe speed is too fast. The strafe spam is real tbh. Wiggling the analog stick (with MnK A-D spam) is a bit too much.

This isn’t your game. Stop telling people the game is not for you.

He’s complaining saying it’s slow-paced while also saying he played halo 3 which is very slow paced compared to infinite.

When you don’t know anything about Halo, COD, or pacing…

This “fast TTK = COD” garbage is so tiresome. Especially given the handful of weapons that do haver a slightly faster TTK are by in large weapons with tons of bloom.

Where in my sentence did I mention TTK?? I was talking about the pacing of the game. Which is what the OP is talking about.

?? People have been doing this for well over a decade. It’s called not standing still to be an easy target. The things average players call “sweaty” are just smart/skilled players doing what they need to do.

Imagine being a standing target, not strafing, crouching, or “wiggling” as you say… that’s called being an easy target.

“Halo Infinite is fast paced.” The implication that anything faster than Infinite is “CoD” and the simple fact there isn’t really any basis for that claim outside of pointing at a handful of slightly faster weapons.

Don’t listen to the sweat complainers aka scrubs complain.

you don’t know what i mean (do not play dumb please), strafing is IMPORTANT, but the strafe speed is too fast in that game. A lot of people was complaining about it. When i read your post i think you should play CoD tbh. No offense man.

What game is considering fast or good pace for you, if I may ask?

It’s decent comedy tbh

Strafing might be too fast on KbM, but not on controller. KbM and controller will be seperated in ranked anyway so I’m not worried about it tbh. (PC with controller player)

I don’t get where all the H3 is much slower is coming from. When was the last time you played a game of H3 slayer that took 10 mins to complete?

You are misinterpreting my post, yah infinite is “fast paced” of your definition is being able to sprint and get places faster…. That’s pretty obvious, but the overall style of the battles and rate at which you are actually engaged in P2P combat is dramatically slower. Most of the games I’ve played take about 8-10 mins to reach 50…. In all the other halo games, you typically complete a game of slayer on 6-8 mins. The amount of action and P2P combat you find yourself in for Infinite is dramatically lower than all previous halo games.

Pacing covers these areas Movement Impetus, Threat, Tension and Tempo. Nowhere did I imply TTK that’s your assumption.

Dude, you’re not making any sense.

Slayer is pretty fast paced. That might be more your speed, then?

Felt quite the opposite on my end. Feel like this Halo had a very fast paced environment, slower than H5 but quicker than Bungie era Halo or H4. Maybe the size of the new map made it feel slower?
