Hey everyone. Did anyone pick up the 10th anniversary Halo issue from OXM? It’s a collectors item for any true Halo fan, and has the CE Master Chief close up, and the CEA Master Chief on the cover. Looks awesome.
On another note, it has a preview of the upcoming novel Halo: Glasslands. The entire first chapter is previewed in the magazine, and as we already know the book starts right after Halo 3 left off. I can’t wait to pick up my issue! Thought I would give the community the heads up!

Oh Yes, I picked mine up today. I have BOTH issues from OXM. I loved that it has about 100 pages, makes the $9.99 worth it.
I WANT THAT! I’ll probably not be able to get it… but Let’s hope I will because I must get it.

I got both as well. Totally worth it! I still have yet to read the Glasslands preview in the magazine!
I hope we get a Halo CEA spotlight for GameInformer/GamePro also, but with all the games coming in Nov, I doubt it.

Gameinformer loves Halo, but Gamepro is the worst of the gaming magazines, but I hear their new editor in chief has changed a lot of things around, for the best I suppose.
I don’t know where I would get one…

Gameinformer also loves AC:R. So I’d love to see which they pick for the main spotlight.(More likely Halo).
I’d just like to see a Gamepro for the cover art, like they did for NO.277, that drawing style feeds my grunty thirst.

Safeway has a magazine section, Chapters has one and so on.
Is it 10$ Canadian there too?
Are you saying that if I go to my nearest safeway right now, the Halo CEA edition of OXM should be in the magazine section as we speak?

I’m in southish USA, and we just got the issues today(or late yesterday) and they’ve been advertised to be at News stands September 6th, yet I got mine the 10th.

$12.99. Even though our dollar is stronger. So screwed up, and its worth it though.
