I just finished the story on legendary co-op with friends and for the first time, I find myself not caring about cortana or the chef, or what’s happening in general.
I’ve got to ask, what happened 343? halo 4 was a great emotional ride with new villains and a deeper character development . Cortana’s emotional frailty in dealing with her rampancy, the chef’s insecurities and denials about losing her while still trying to save the world! where did that all go? halo 5 campaign feels like and unfinished product ,id almost say you got bored very early on and then really quickly slapped something together .
Its all flair and hinting with no real content and can i also say you really overplayed the trailers about locke hunting the chef he does it for all of 5 minutes and then changes his mind , they meet only twice and have one fight , from the way you where selling it i expected locke to be nipping at the chefs boots all game a few little fights here and there what i got was nathan fillion talking for forever , which in itself is not bad id listen to that voice forever but still not the point .
The point I’m making 343 is that im not angry, im just disappointed, halo has now become another mediocre game that sits on my wall of shattered hopes and broken dreams.
PS: multiplayer is still class
