You can see the fear in the enemies eyes as they start to flee because they know they stand no chance… It probably needs a nerf. You can take on an entire team with that thing on and there is nothing they can do unless they have a rocket. Why is it that the actual good weapons on the map don’t have a countdown timer?
I sort of agree. OS should be good, but as it stands it is CRAZY good.
For example, on Regret, the first team to get the OS gets a massive initial advantage over the other team. The OS allows people to tank a huge amount of damage and make super aggressive pushes that wouldn’t otherwise be possible. That’s good, but as it stands, the power is a bit too much. You can take on two people at once, face on, and easily survive.
I think it should be reduced a bit, maybe by 1/4…
TOO OP!
I need to start going for it more apparently.
I don’t think it needs a nerf, it works similar to most other OS’s where you get a few seconds of invincibility before it actually kicks in. Either way, it is a power up for a reason.
I don’t run from it, I can at least pop the overshield before I die making it job easier for teammates, but I have to say the Regret map I think the overshield and fuelrod is a crazy combination.
There is a brief moment of when someone picks up overshield that it actually activates, so in a game at the start really all you need to do is team shot the person picking it up and they will die before it actually activates.
Power ups in Arena should be on timers like the weapons. It’s very annoying when someone camps the OS on Regret.
Easy to melt OS with 1 other person, it’s ok, a lot better than H4 OS

Nah not everything needs a timer, the OS spawns every two minutes after it is picked up so you just need to watch the time you pick it up and then keep an eye on the game timer. It rewards awareness. Also you can activate OS quicker by thrusting which cancels the animation. There is another way too which I think is you press swap weapon button twice but I am unsure on this.
Another thing for Regret though in general is more people need to pick up the needler that things is actually a beast in this game. I’ve never had it to use against an OS user yet but I assume it would wreak even someone with a fresh OS.
