You know with all the criticisms and headlines this game has received from bad campaign, no split screen, low sales and scores, despite them still being very respectable, no one has given attention to probably one of the most important things this game has managed to achieve that a lot of other games this gen have had a great deal of difficulty with… A smooth launch!!!
No game breaking bugs, no server issues, the only issue that did crop up was slow download speeds which was resolved the same day.
How about we give 343 credit for pulling off what many other companies couldn’t this gen.
For the most part. I’ve had plenty of problems matchmaking mostly on day 1 and today for some reason. I got disconnected from many matches and two other ones were lagged beyond playability.
I too have not had a single problem with connection. I absolutely love Halo 5 in all regards. Sure, the story is lack luster and slightly hard to follow if you do not know the lore, but it is hardly the worse. Now, Reach’s story, that sucked. It just happened to have nice set pieces.
Yeah, I’ve had no problems. There were a couple of problems opening REQs the first night, but come on, everyone and their mom was on that night opening REQs. It cleared up within an hour. That wasn’t the dev’s fault.
Everything ran smooth as buttery velvet. Very nice.
