Overhaul Default Gametypes

Many of the default gametypes available in Custom Games need to be overhauled because to be honest, many of them are just plain bad. H3 Infection starts players with Assault Rifles and gives the zombies shields, most objective gametypes don’t have BR variants by default for H2 and H3, most of CE’s options don’t start players with Magnums, BTB tuned options aren’t available by default, and I could go on but you probably get the point. It’s not even 100% consistent between games either.

You could argue it’s not a big deal since you can just make your own variants, but even that’s annoying due to MCC’s private files limit. You can only save up to 50 local files which doesn’t make sense to me since the 360 Halo games gave you basically unlimited space. I can understand limited file share space, but there’s no reason for local files. Please fix this.

All of these issues are a problem for when I’m hosting CGB lobbies as well. I shouldn’t have to make versions of the built-in gametypes when just trying to play regular matches.

I’m anti-BR-start and especially anti-CE-pistol-start. You gotta work for those weapons. Otherwise, what’s even the point of half the sandbox?

Fair enough, My point about the private files limit still stands though.

I disagree with anti-pistol start for CE since that was always part of the regular start besides certain maps where you just start with plasma pistol. If plasma weapons worked properly in MCC CE, the pistol would actually have counters but because they don’t use lockstep netcode, whoever gets the pistol is pretty much guaranteed to control most CE maps the entire game.
