The map looks good, I didn’t expect it. I was expecting the lava steam remix of the rig first…but maybe we’ll get that in january.

On the one hand, I appreciate the remixes because it shows how much the flow and pace of a level can be altered by fairly small changes. It’s sort of like 343i’s designers showing us “what might have been” or different variations they were considering of the same level.
I like that because often times I run into the same issue myself, where you sit there and wonder what it might have been like had you done things differently.
On the other hand, Halo 5 already suffers from a dire lack of unique content and doesn’t need to risk stagnation by running maps with very similar layouts and engagements.
It sure looks like a plaza remix. Kind of looks like it has some elements inspired from halo 3 guardian map. Not all remixes are just small changes. Eden is fairly simple… awkward catwalks in between bases. Regret on the other hand plays much differently and uses mostly new assets.

Agreed. I want to see some completely new maps. Not that i’m complaining though considering they are free and we desperately need more Arena maps.

We see concepts of it from one of the Sprint episodes. The hole in the center has been replaced by a lava pool and there are probably other changes but that’s really the only area we saw.

From concept art ive seen, the open it up much more, there is lava pouring from a furnace in the center

Lets make one map, and then take that map, block off part a put a cone in part b and move this entrance on part c and voila!!!
