Overcoming slumps

Today was one of the worst days I have ever had in matchmaking in any halo game and even though I try to avoid tilting, today was just was just frustrating as hell. Also I play on a 32" JVC LCD TV, and even though I try to not use this as an excuse, I feel like my reaction time is much more slower than my opponents. I would like to know what you do to overcome slumps in arena

A display with 15 mil seconds respond time(correct me if im wrong)…does this really need explaination?

Yes it does have a 15 mil. sec. response time

15 mil. sec. is a long time, especially when many people play with monitors that get as low as 1 mil. sec. Add the 15 mil. sec. response time to the input lag of a wireless controller, then the ping of your connection to the server, and you may find you are doing lower than your potential from those things alone.

I find when I am in a slump, I just need to slow down my game and only focus on not dying and staying back playing support for my teammates.

Some days you just need to turn the box off, go outside and have a beer (or beverage of choice). I’ve noticed that nights that go south for me generally stay that way, nights that go well generally stay that way too.

Its not just you im probably about 2-8 somewhere around there. Ive heard from other people they had that problem aswell

Imo you need an upgrade you’r actual display has way too much,my ASUS VP247 has 1 ms is cheap and does an incredible job.

For me, just taking a day or two off is enough to help. Some nights you just can’t be on.

I agree. From my experience, you’re just experiencing a small very minor slump. I went through one (stopped actually for about a week but anyway…) and got over it.
