8 bullet is too much for a one shot kill gun, this should have 4 bullets. People who are good with sniper would rape so much people with this gun. Its crazy!
play the game first and see if its really OP imo its not, its hard to no-scope and has a laser sight when zoom that people can tell your on them so no its not.
Well, it only has 2 bullets per clip, has a HUGE reticle when unscoped, and gives off a laser pointer at whoever it is being aimed at.
I think it’s pretty balanced. It’s pretty strong, yes, but I believe that a skilled sniper would still prefer the Human Sniper due to its larger magazine capacity, lack of laser pointer, and the ability to no-scope.

People said the same thing about the SPARTAN Laser in Halo 3 and Reach.
The warning laser basically does nothing to warning anyone - its basically a “Hey, kiss your -Yoink- goodbye!” notice. Because unless you were literally 3 steps or less from solid cover, you were turned crispy SPARTAN.

Let see, the Binary Rifle (one f there guy) is a one hit kill, it’s magazine size is 2 rounds, with 8 spare rounds, and it’s reticle is bigger than the chain gun’s when you’re hip firing it, making no scopes something of luck or epic skill.
The UNSC Sniper Rifle is a two shot kill, it’s magazine size is 4, and has 20 or 24 rounds in spare, and is fairly easy to no scope.

How can you confirm this? Nobody has seen the choices when it comes to setting your ordnance drops via weight.

Splazer is easier to aim and is 1 shot kill
Rockets are easier to use and is 1 shot kill
Fuel Rod is amazingly easy to use and is 1 shot kill
Binary Rifle is nothing new, I wouldn’t get so stressed.
Nothing a hardlight shield can’t fix.

I’ve watched pretty much every Halo 4 Multiplayer gameplay that’s been uploaded and I can tell you the Binary Rifle does not come up nearly as much as Sniper or Beam rifle in personal ordinance. That’s just if ‘sniper rifles’ appear which is not always the case.
I have yet to see it is an initial world drop aswell.

If only you could choose which selection of weapons come down in your ordnance.

You won’t be seeing the Binary Rufle every game. The weighting for it to appear is lower compared to other weapons.

Thank you for clearing that up, i now understand how the system works a little better then i did before. Sorry if i seemed like a yoink hole xD So for example something like a needier has lower “weight” then a rocket launcher?

Depends how the gametype is set up. You can adjust the weighting for each weapon, powerup, ability or grenade, edit the choices that can be made, and edit how many points you need to obtain in order to call in the ordnance drop.
343i are marvellous at custom game options, I’ll tell ya that.
another complaint even before the game is out. lets all be quite and play it first.

It is normally only 6 shots total. As it seems with most weapons in Halo 4 by default you get 2 spare magazines. In the Vortex video at 5:26 the player chose ammo armor mod which gives the player 1 extra magazine for ordanince.
