So, the game is a couple years old now?
Anyway - There shouldn’t be an issue playing it down the very core of it.
As me and my friend play Skirmish, we get the following message:
“The game has gone out of sync with the other players”
This ^ THIS - seriously needs to be adressed as it ruins, well, everything (and it has been like this for a loooong time). You can’t play the game for longer than 10-15 minutes before it goes to -Yoink- and shuts down. Not only is this an issue in skirmish, it happens in campaign too (during certain key loading points).
It happens to either of us when playing solo or with each other. Luckilly it doesn’t happen in firefight (yeiii…).
EDIT: It does happen in firefight too…
Fix it.
