I started playing ranked as soon as it came out. I crawled my way up to plat 3, and thats when it happened. 2 games in a row it went out of sync and I was knocked down three ranks.
How is that fair to me…? I was winning and the game crapped out. That is not my fault, so why am I being punished…?

It isn’t but somehow 343, CA, and MS think there is nothing wrong with it I’m sure.
the reason you are going down is that the game cant tell if you disconnect by accident or if you purposely disconnect yourself by pulling the internet cord or something. if the game were to not derank you for lagging out then whenever someone is about to lose they would just disconnect themselves on purpose and not lose rank. in any ranked mode in any game you will always go down for disconnecting. this issue in any game will never be solved until the industry invents a way to tell the difference between intentional disconnects and accidental ones.

Yes, very true, but why does it go out of sync in the first place?
And if your opponent lags a lot does that mean you go out of sync too and it loses? I don’t get it. Don’t have such connection problems with other games.
Is HW2 peer to peer or dedicated servers?

Your about to lose a game, you pull your routers connection out. You always have top rank because you never lose a game. Sucks about your DC, but that’s the state of things.
Note I am not saying you do this, but this is how the server treats out of sync.

Dedicated, apparently. From the fact I’ve played on a fire team regular with an Auzzie, myself and an American lag free I believe it.
Why is it I disconnecting with a buzzing sound from my xbox 1 when I am winning… but never when I’m losing? Can any one explain? Classic example is after we defeat several onslaught of rush units and then defeat the pre air that Comes… After wards start a small push to there side and boom disconnect…
