When we called, Spartan, you answered. And the next chapter of Halo will be better because of it.

Thanks again for being part of the next evolution of Halo combat.

The reward was 4 promotional Halo images that you are supposed to put on your Facebook page like so:

I don’t need a reward, but I think giving pictures “as a reward” is ridiculous especially since they are essentially promotional advertisements that they expect you to spread around to others. Many people are paid to test games, and promote games. We are not.

It was an avatar item.

Honestly I don’t think we need any reward for playing the beta, though I do admit that essentially giving advert pic as a “reward” is a bit silly, but one can’t complain.
