Other improvements for Reach.

So far with the TU we have bloom and sword block removed, bleedthrough returning, and AL and camo nerfs. But what else could stand to be adjusted, added, or even removed? I made this thread to provide a list of Reach’s issues which hopefully 343i will see…if they don’t then…oh well. TBH I’m not expecting much but if you don’t try you never know right?

If you feel that way, that’s fine. But IMO there are a few things that could stand to be adjusted, and more than a few glitches that are just a pain in the -Yoink-. Oh and before I forget…

Anyway on with the list:

-More arena gametypes, honestly we have one competitive playlist. Something needs to be done

-Trueskill, most gametypes are in need of 1-50 or arena style trueskill. The trueskill in most playlists isn’t strict enough if not flat out broken. Possibly split the playlists into ranked and social? Social could keep the current trueskill

-Parties matching randoms, if the playlists were split like H3, then ranked shouldn’t allow this and social should. Also guests wouldn’t be in ranked.

-Infection-betrayal “glitch”, when a zombie and human kill each other, it can count as a betrayal and get you booted.

-Guass warthog glitch, I hate this thing,the guass cannon shoots through any forge object, rendering it unusable on competitive maps, some people have made custom gametypes using this, so maybe have it as optional. It makes me sad inside that I can’t put my favourite vehicle on my maps.

-Revenent passenger seat increased bullet magnetism, I honestly don’t know why this was here in the first place. But you can get a headshot on an enemy if you hit within two meters around his head while sitting in the revenent.

-???, don’t know what this is called, but if you have a guest and AL you can glitch through any wall, inside the wall you can shoot but can’t be shot at.

-Infection rounds don’t end when all zombies are dead, meaning some gametypes lose much of their epicness

-You cannot change the traits of a juggernaut. Why? God only knows.

-The betrayal system, needless to say, the old system isn’t working as it should.

-The mute ban, do I really have to explain this one? It needs removing. People are bieng banned just because the enemy don’t want to hear them or vice versa.

-The file censor system. I heard this is bieng worked on, and that it’s not 343i’s fault, but I included it as it’s ruining a lot of peoples days.

-Grenades/grenukes, even if you think these are fine in most playlists (lolno), if you went into team classic you’d see why they need nerfing.

-Buff the drop shield and hologram/derp shield and lologram, hologram could stand to be slightly more realistic and last longer, also make it so it shows up as red on radar, drop shield could have an increased health regen rate.

-Buff the plasma repeater and focus rifle damage. The focus rifle is supposed to be the covenent sniper, instead it seems like an assist machine, your gun overheats before you can kill anyone and it also makes you stiack out like a sore thumb. Either buff the damage or RoF on the plasma repeater, right now it just shoots fail everywhere when you press RT.

-Buff vehicle health, whatever the vehicles have turned to in this game it isn’t good, DMRs and snipers rip them apart. Either buff the health or reduce the damage they recieve from bullets, I suggest the second as lasers and rockets should still kill them.

-Nerf the banshee, I suggest reducing the frequency of the backflip and/or banshee bomb.

-Indestructable vehicles = indestructable players, correct me if I’m wrong as I’ve never confirmed it, however I was told that if you turn on indestructable vehicles it makes players in them invincible. Please fix this if true. The purpose of IV is to stop freindly fire on vehicles not make players not die when in them.

-Sword fights, make it so sword fights carry on untill one player misses. It was better than the current version (3 swings and both players die).

-Vehicle physics, make the warthog “heavier” if possible, right now it just flips for no apparent reason and is chucked arround by DMR fire.

-Forge rotation snap glitch, the forge rotation snap mechanic will randomly double what you set it to and not revert. Please fix this!

-Adjust the movement speed and jump height to CE style, if this isn’t possible through custom games precisely, do it through TU.

-Increase strafe acceleration, by which I mean the time it takes to change direction from left to right or vice versa and reach full speed.

-Reduce bullet magnetism, sorry, but bullet magnetism just reduces the skill gap even more.

-Add new commendations, mainly winning a game, scoring a flag or bomb for MM, and CQB and wheelman commendations for campaign and firefight.

-Add a huge Cr bonus for winning, this is needed as an extra incentive to win, which is certainly lacking in Reach.
