So, I posted my theory about how Mendicant Bias opened a portal to the Ark for the Spirit of Fire as to get him. I’m thinking what if that’s not the case? What if it’s not Mendicant Bias who brought them to the Ark, but Cortana?! In Mythos, Curtator says the Created has no presence on the Ark, but their shadow is spreading. What if she sent SoF to the Ark for them to unknowingly shut down the Ark’s defenses? In doing so, she could gain access to whatever she wants on the installation, such as… I’m hoping it’s Mendicant Bias, but I won’t be shocked if it turns out to be Cortana.
I am positive the Created will factor into Halo Wars 2’s storyline in some way shape or form. That said, it would be an immense disappointment of Mendicant Bias has had his last in the story after the ominous Sillentium epilogue.
If we’re lucky, we’ll get to see both.
I think the Mendicant Bias theory is more likely.
I don’t see why the ark would resist her when nothing else did.

That’s true. Just watched the scene again and she says someone from the Ark opened the portal and brought them. Pleeeeeease have it be Mendicant Bias!!!
I’m personally hoping that Mendicant Bias was the one who did this rather than Cortana. Despite the fact that I’m really not a fan of the whole Cortana/Created plot, it just doesn’t make sense for Cortana to send them there. What purpose would that serve to her? She can’t really benefit from having more Spartan-IIs running around trying to kill her, after all.

I am really leaning towards it being M Bias now like.

I missed this. AWESOME. Really hoping that’s a sign MB will play a role.
(Yes I know every time someone visits the Ark we all start expecting him to appear… I figure eventually it has to happen LOL.)
