As I continue writing my character’s backstory, I wonder:
What other cities were invaded during the course of the Battle for Earth? I know that Regret only invaded New Mombasa, and on the Halo Wiki it says Truth invaded New Mombasa and Cleveland Ohio. Any other cities that we know of?
Sydney was attacked, but I don’t know whether there was a full scale invasion. Havana in Cuba was completely occupied for control of the space elevator.
The city of Aranuka was a tether city off the coast of the Pacific Ocean that was also attacked during the Battle of Earth. The tether barely survived, and post-war reconstruction saw to it that the tether city be rebuilt and repopulated.
Voi was one and was invaded and compliteley destroyed

Chicago may have been attacked. The Halo 2 map Foundation takes place there and gunfire/explosions can be heard in the distance.
In Ghosts of Onyx, the part about Blue Team’s mission in Havana, Cuba leads in with a quick recap of some of the team’s prior missions during the battle of Earth, one of which involved aquatic operations off the Yucatan peninsula.
I thought I read somewhere that Pittsburgh was invaded too but that could’ve been just a fan story. Love to find out if there was any truth to it though. Be interesting to see what the Covenant would’ve done to Pittsburgh in the Halo Universe.
