what if the Flood come back and infected osiris team, then blue team comes in has to kill them…? since there hasn’t been any spartan flood species yet it could be used as a boss fight and would be cool to see Spartans infected!

I thought it was only in halo 3 you could see the flood actively infecting? Atleast thats what I remember. Never on chief though.

Jusr read up on it. At the very least, in the books chief alnost got infected. Cortana zapped the form to death before it did, though.
The concept of fighting a Spartan flood boss is pretty cool.

same, I just hope they’re fleshed out a little more, the mission where you can hear cortana trying to psyche them out by talking about their pasts was reallyyy interesting and gave more character to them and really made me able to relate to them more if that makes sense, I really just want more of that stuff

OSIRIS was 1000x better then Blue team during the course of Halo 5…

I think it would be alright if only one of Osiris was infected. I’d prefer if Vale was infected just because I found her extremely irritating with her random dialogue over the course of Halo 5 but I think it would be better for the story if Tanaka was infected despite the fact that she seemed like a reasonable character. She actually seems closest of to Locke out of Osiris and if she’s infected, it would really help drive Locke’s character forward in terms of emotional development and flesh him out a bit, and also show the audience that the stakes are high in the war against the created and not every good guy comes home whole and safe like in Halo 5.

It’s simple. They aren’t Chief.
343 often kill off characters (exactly when they say they will stop doing that). So yeah they could potentially abandon that “Osiris” part of the plot (remember when they were supposed to deepen the Chief’s personality and make his quest more personal, and then they just put him aside…)
But infecting Osiris with the Flood sounds utterly nonsensical.

That was only because Osiris had four times as much screen time.
That sounds like a pretty dumb idea. Osiris may get no love (except for Buck), but they are obviously too integral to the story to sacrifice to the Flood.

Members of Project ORION (Spartan I project) like Sgt. Johnson were immune to Flood infection due to the augmentations. However, it was never stated that Spartan II augmentations and onward provided immunity to Flood infection. And if we are to take Wargames as canon, which include Flood and Infection gametypes, Spartan training includes mock battles against infected Spartans.
