Am I the only one who has never seen this in matchmaking?
It looks like a great map, what gives?
It got removed from the rotation because of some glitch that let players escape the map I think.
no fun
It’s not as fun of a map as it looks, trust me.
It was a way better map than Pegasus, loved the open feel of it yet still had some close quarters fun. It definitely had problems but Pegasus is a thousand times worse

Exactly this. You could go to a corner of the map, sprint, jump, and ground pound to safely explore the surrounding area.
Orion was a Forge map. Forge has had the tools to prevent this kind of exploit for half a decade now – Safe Boundaries, introduced in Halo: Reach. I don’t know how that slipped past the notice of whoever built Orion.

I agree, pegasus sucks. The shotgun is a weird choice for the map…as it’s placed right below the rockets and hardly has any uses on the map considering most of the sightlines are longer range you can’t really sneak up on people on that map… I think this map may have been better in the beta.
it was in team slayer and other playlists and was removed cause of exploits as the other posters above me have said
Orion was horrible in SWAT with the easy spawn kill locations. Truth isn’t much better in SWAT either. Overall the maps in Halo 5 are pretty disappointing.
You’re lucky it’s removed.
You would’ve felt hell…
Orion was awesome for DMR play
Was one of the best maps.
The new Pegusuck map is God awful.

Sorry i know this might be abit off topic but that link to make Waypoint darker, you are a god! It looks so much better with the dark background!
On topic, Orion was an ok map, hopefully the creator is looking into the issue so it can be re-added to matchmaking.
There is no place to hide on that map. You can shoot anyone, anywhere on that map. It was not a fun map to play. However, I saw it last week but im thinking it was still in the custom playlist ?
