Original Xbox One not recognizing 360 Halo discs

Actually the problem is with every 360 disc I’ve tried all of which are on the backwards compatibility list. From the series, I have tried Reach and Halo 4.

I’m borrowing what I think is a first model Xbox One but which I believe has all current system updates. The console, though, refuses to recognize any 360 discs giving the error code 0x80820003 0x75 and the message “Unable to read the disc, the disc may not be clean. Please clean the disc and try again” These discs are perfectly fine and work in the 360. As usual, Mircosoft’s support advice (remove and reinstall the user profile, power cycle the console) is both puerile and ineffective. Blu-ray and audio CD’s are recognized and work fine for playback.

I couldn’t find any threads specific to this situation but help is appreciated.

Keep calling them until you get a human who can speak and understand English and go from there. Don’t give up. Best of luck buddy.

Thanks for the reply. I think something may be wrong with the disc drive because now it’s have trouble with DVD’s and CD’s as well.
