I ain’t getting into details so you’ll have to use your imagination, but more weapons that use blamite rounds.

That is all.

I want a flame thrower of some sort.

Some sort of smoke or concussion grenade.

I like the idea of delayed detonation weaponry.

And for customs - some sort of dual activation weapon. When you shoot someone they are now “tagged” and a second player is needed to shoot them to complete the kill.

I really wish Halo had more “non-lethal” grenades. I think there’s some value in obstructing the view of the enemy.

Name: Rat
Ammo type: N/A
Mag size: 1
Weapon Tier: Fusion Coil
Weapon description: Using a grapple, you can now use a rat as a weapon capable of being thrown at opponents. Functions in a similar fashion to the ricochet ball in Halo 4 or the fusion coils in the game. Accompanying the rat would be a new gametype: “Ratball”. Ratball would be mode similar to Grifball, but instead of an oddball, you must throw as many rats onto the opposing team’s side or by killing your opponents. 1 rat = 1 point, 1 rat kill = 10 points but the rat disappears. You will spawn in with a rat in hand, but after it is thrown you must pick up more rats.

Name:
Fulgur

Ammo type:
Sticky electric grenades

Mag size:
4 grenades

Weapon tier:
don’t know

Weapon description:
You can shoot sticky electric grenades on enemies which when explodes in a group would make an electric chain and drain shields fast.
You could take out numerous vehicles at once.
You can switch to hit-and-explode or self detonation mode.
Self detonation mode you need to fire all 4 grenades, and then you can detonate them.
Hit-and-explode will make all shots explode when you hit something.
You can hold the shoot button and every grenade will fire or you can shoot every single grenade at your own pace.

To refill your ammo you need to pick up frag grenades or plasma grenades which then gets electrified and sticky in the gun.
The sticky glue in the gun is light green with some shades of orange, which makes the shots fired look like a small fuel rod cannon shot.
The gun has the size of a needler. Is dark green with blue lights flickering from the lid. The lid on top to fill it up with grenades. The lid pops open when mag is empty, and stays open until refilled. It has two sharp, long knifes attached with dark brown bandage that points up and backwards as the crystals on the needler. These two knifes makes the gun a one or two hit melee weapon.

This weapon was a re-engineered sticky detonator by the banished as a defence weapon to neutralize attacks on bases. Specifically an vehicle attack, so they could stun all their vehicles and send a group of brutes to blow them up with their skewer and gravity hammers.
And even stick their grunts, launch them at the attackers and detonate the grunts when they landed between the enemies.

You know, this reminds me of Titanfall 2’s Ticks. They were deployable grenades that would seek out the nearest enemy over a period of like 30s before exploding. I’m bringing this up since from a lore perspective, it wouldn’t make sense for any faction (UNSC, Banished and especially Forerunner) to unleash a flood spore (lore shouldn’t dictate gameplay, but it should be ignored either). I think the idea is cool and could lead to some good custom games.

So like a moving autoturret from 3 and 4?

If you’ve played fallout 4, then you’ll know they had something kind of like this (minus the bayonet). It was a laser musket, but you had to “crank” the gun to give it a more powerful charge (which would cost more energy). A gun you have to pre-charge would be very cool especially since the Railgun isn’t here.

Imma do my own:

Name: not sure yet
Ammo type: Hardlight
Mag size: 250
Weapon Tier: 3 (Power)
Weapon description:
A forerunner “Arm Cannon” made of 4 “blades” of metal or whatever forerunners use to build their machines that wrap around the users fist (one above it, one below, and one on each side, these two blades face outwards)

Firing the trigger will fire a shot with a very wide spread (about 3 horizontal heatwave projectiles wide) that does enough damage to kill in 2 shots at point blank, for 50 ammo per shot.

But wait, isn’t this a power weapon?
Well, read on.

Holding the trigger will cause the two outermost blades to turn inwards, at max charge they will face straight like the blades above and below the wrist. Depending on when the trigger is released, the projectile fired will be different:
Uncharged: Very wide spread, 2 shot ko at point blank, 50 ammo
Stage 1: Wide spread (2 heatwave shots wide), OHKO at point plank, 100 ammo
Stage 2: Bulldog spread, OHKO at mid range, high recoil, 150 ammo
Stage 3 (Maximum): Basically a Railgun, long range, OHKO, small splash damage, 200 amm

Note the projectile fired is slightly faster then a heatwave shot (aside from Stage 3)

Assault Rifle, but with a chainsaw as a bayonet.

Name:

Nail Rifle (Type 31-B Rifle)

Ammo type:

Superheated tungsten-alloy spikes

Mag size:

Twelve Shots

Weapon Tier:

Mid-Tier Ranged Semi-Automatic Rifle

Weapon description:

“A heavily modified version of the ‘Type 31’ Needle Rifle that was utilized by the Covenant. Now with redesigning from Banished Weaponsmiths, it has been heavily modified. No longer chambering in Blamite Crystalline Projectiles, it now fires heavy tungsten ammunition designed to rip through armor and cause severe internal damage. A distance marksman rifle that was designed so that wherever you strike the target, you will be causing extensive damage. However MJOLNIR Armor and Energy Shielding mitigates such physical trauma, though it is still certainly a lethal weapon.”

■ Sticky disruptor.

Long range tracking explosive that flings shield eating projectiles.
Duration is increases when walking.

The explosion itself is weak unless you stick a person.

Projectiles hit and stick to nearby enemies.
Mainly designed to prevent shield recharge.

■ Gravity carbine.

No zoom: shockwave that throws enemies.
Near bulldog strength

Zoomed: slower fire consumes more ammo.
Fires long range shot that unleashes a burst upon impact.

While zoomed charged shots continue to push everything for 5 seconds.

Name: THE CLOACA
Ammo type: Tracking Exploding Disruptor Grenades
Mag size: 5
Weapon Tier: Heavy
Weapon description: Shoots a mega powerful disruptor grenade forwards or backwards. Backwards shot achieved by pulling both triggers at once. Grenades track vehicles. Weapon is slow to load next charge. Three hits will kill a tank. One direct hit kills a person, but like the disruptor pistol it takes a bit of time, but not as long as the pistol.

Name: The Glasser

Ammo type: Plasma

Mag size: 100%

Weapon description: Player finds a dead hunters beam cannon, but it seems to be damaged. When using the Glasser the cannon spews plasma in an arch to splatter and burn on any surface. Think reskin of flamethrower that can shoot farther.

Name: Refractor

Weapon Tier: 1 (Commonly Available)

Description: A hardlight sidearm with a different firing mode when zoomed (think Halo 4 Light Rifle, remodelled as a sidearm). Regular hip fire would be 2-burst with a faster RPM for a faster TTK, however projectile velocity would be slower so it is less effective at range. Zoomed fire would consume the same amount of ammo (2 / shot) and it would be semi-auto with a slower RPM for a slower TTK however the projectiles would travel much faster making it suitable for mid range. As with other Hardlight weapons the projectiles would bounce off objects and pass through enemies.

Analysis:

  • Optimal TTK (Hipfire): +1.25s (6 shield, 1 crit)
  • Suboptimal TTK (Hipfire): +1.60s (6 shield, 3 body)
  • Optimal TTK (Zoomed): +1.60s (3 shield, 1 crit)
  • Suboptimal TTK (Zoomed): +2.00s (3 shield, 2 body)
  • Fire Mode (Hipfire): 2-Burst (~380 RPM or ~190 BPM)
  • Fire Mode (Zoomed): Semi-Auto (~150 RPM)
  • Ammo: Hardlight, 18 Projectiles
  • Range: Short - Mid, Projectile Lag
  • Notes: Alternate fire mode when zoomed. Projectiles travel through enemies and bounce off of objects.

Variant: Ray Gun

  • A hardlight handcannon that shoots projectiles that deal AoE damage when zoomed.

Gotta love promethean/hardlight weapons. They are really slept on

Wouldn’t mind a weapon that is specifically designed to swatting down wasps in multiplayer to keep them from spawn killing your team if they get over there.

Shock Rifle? Hydra? Sniper?

Nice when I can find them and they’ve not been taken my teammates who never seemingly do anything about Wasps in that one map.
