Also, I remember him clearly stating in the Q&A that he hasn’t adapted any old pieces yet. I died a little inside when a I read that, but know this video clearly shows a classic Halo song. What’s up with that?

I honestly don’t know why I wrote that. He said “yet” about a theme song for Grunts, not about returning classic music. And even if, hypothetically, he did say “yet” about classic themes, I doubt he’d manage to compose an adapted classic song in less than a few days.

iono i hope this game gas more kick-asz songs and less"aww we so sad emo" songs. Chief is a walking tank and one of the best warriors humanity has produced. Music should show his epicness not make me depressed.

But yes, I can’t wait to see what else he has in store. His approach to music within Halo sounds promising.

Sounds great, though I’m a little iffy about the vocals.
It sounds like they are actually singing Latin texts or some made up language.
But eh, Halo 2 had it too, when you were on Delta Halo on those structures in the middle of a great lake, that sounded awesome.
I’m guessing it’s just for game parts that actually happen on empty Forerunner structures.
Overall, I have full faith in this new composer!
Heard some new samples, not bad I like what I heard. But i will always love the music from the original trilogy. However I don’t really try to compare the two. I think this new trilogy definitely has its own sound.
