Does anybody miss the classic Halo music with the monk choruses? That was honestly what got me pumped when I was about to play. I definitely don’t think that Halo 4’s theme music is bad, it just can’t compare to the original music. I just wish 343 kept it because it would boost my morale to play this game when I start getting frustrated with the nonsense in it.
The original game’s menu and music will always be my favorite. But that’s nostalgia for you.

That music does play during Halo 4, albeit only once.
Also, the Credits of Halo 4 have the music from Halo 3’s main menu.
It’s funny that you call it the “original music”. I respect 343 for the music in this game because it IS original. They could’ve recycled the old music, and honestly that would’ve killed it for me. I don’t need their new trilogy riding on the strings of the other.
I am an absolutely huge fan of Marty O’Donnell’s music, I should add.
I can still put in old PS1 games like Xenogears or Final Fantasy VII and remember the music PERFECTLY after years of playing.
I remember the music from every other Halo prior to this one.
After playing through H4 enough times to get legendary solo completed, I can HONESTLY say I don’t remember a SINGLE piece of music, not one. That’s not hating, thats being serious. The music score left no impact on me, and honestly I didn’t even realize it until I entered this thread.
