Recently I’ve been trying to brush up on some classic halo 2 pc but it gives me an error when I try and launch the game I’ve tried uninstalling the game and reloading it from the disk but I keep getting the same error
if I remember right halo 2 vista (if that’s what you’re referring too), has issues playing on windows 10, there are workarounds for it though
Try launching in compatibility mode for xp sp2, that’s always my first step when trying to load old games.

Just tested Halo CE and Halo 2 (<mark>REDACTED</mark>), everything works just fine
I think what “Games for windows” didn’t work at all.
I don’t know why is here this post anyways because the MCC is not the problem here.
It’s not because of MCC. Halo 2 PC was a Vista game and will not run perfectly on Windows 10 unless you do some of the workarounds that have been referenced.
