Ordnance in Team Throwdown?

What is wrong with 343i?

I am hoping to God it is disabled as I recall them saying it wouldn’t be in game.

This is -Yoinking!- limited if it is in though.

Its probably to drop AA’s like the v1 settings.

It was just confirmed in the weekly update.

AAs should be on map only.

Its the v2 settings you get AAs as ordnances and start with none

AAs should be removed entirely.

Why should they be removed entirely?

Not having Thrusterpack starts = fail

I like this. I’ve seen matches with this setting and it makes the game far better than having AA’s as loadout choice.

Let’s give it a chance before posting “I H8 343” comments, yeah?

OP you clearly don’t pay attention to competitive Halo, so why are you upset? If you DID, you would know it’s going to be a hardlight shield, hologram or thruster pack every time.

Wow, so after that huge bulletin of great info, that’s all you have to say?

Pay attention, the O. drops will be HS, TS, and Hologram, each. and every. time.

^ What that guy said.

Thruster Pack/Hologram/Hardlight Shield ordinance drop every time. Honestly, once you play a lot, you’ll realize they’re barely put to use anyways.

Haters gonna hate

My only concern is they are making a version of it based around the DMR.

No one asked for this.

So many scrubs on this forum.
There shouldn’t be AAs at all.
This is the competitive playlist based around MLG.
The only reason anyone will say AAs are okay for MLG is because they started
playing MLG in Reach.

If you did, I feel bad for you. You missed out on a much, much better scene
in MLG Halo 2/Halo 3.

Look at the Bravo clarification thread. Or the copy’n’paste below:

For clarity, Bravo @ 343i posted this over at NeoGAF:

> The personal ordnance enabled simply refers to the AAs (thruster, hologram, hardlight) that can be found in v2. This should not be a shock to anyone, and it clearly states that this is for v2 - it is not playlist wide.

Don’t complain about the gametype before you play it. It’ll make you seem petty and still in high school.

Besides I’m fine with everything except the explosives support mod since you don’t need to be precise with the grenades.

Plus the DMR needs to die in a fire. I really don’t want to play against teams of people who hide in the farthest corner of every map and destroy map movement/control. 343 learn about the competitive scene before you give us things that cater to casuals.

AA’s in Ordnance or on the map are basically the same as equipment in Halo 3, and they bring variety to the game.

None of the AA’s included in the playlist are overpowered either.

Would equipment be superior? Definitely. But abilities aren’t bad by any means.

I think it’s stupid to waste a variant on multiple weapons. 2 exclusive weapon variant…

They should’ve just balanced the sandbox so that each precision has a preset loadout.
