So after looking around a bit, I’ve seen some people voicing concerns that ordnance drops will be a kill streak like in halo 4.
343 has said that these ordnance and vehicle drops are just a new way to respawn weapons and vehicles in the map, instead of just appearing or the beeping weapon pads from halo 5.
So no from what I’ve read and seen there are no kill streak systems
This is correct - there are no kill streak rewards in Halo Infinite. The ordnance you hear in the trailers is purely referring to weapons and vehicles that are spawned in at certain intervals throughout the match. it’s just a cooler way of bringing them in. I believe this was further clarified in the Multiplayer ViDoc that was released today

This really needs to be brought up more, because I’m still seeing people go on about them being Killstreak Rewards even after the last video clarified that it’s a cool weapon-pad sort of system and not a player-controlled action. Maybe calling them Ordnance Drops was a mistake, or the point should have been made clear in the initial reveal rather than later.
The term “Ordinance” seems to have left a bad taste on everyone’s mouth after how it was poorly executed in Halo 4. It really functions more like how it did in ODST and Reach Firefight, “ordinance drops” happen after a certain amount of time, spawning or respawning vehicles and weapons, and if I’m understanding this correctly, this only happens in BTB.
