many people may hate ordnance drop but it can still be improved,here what 343i should do! remove rocket launcher,Energy sword,gravity hammer,and fuel rod from ordinance drop! these weapons are so OP! and to get ordnance drop you must get 12 kills! think about it! its going to be challenging who ever gets ordnance drop right? and make custom load outs and ordnance for infinity playlist only and make a classic playlist aswell without load outs,kill cams,and ordnance but leave sprint!

Look, your solving 3 problems. Sword, RL and FRC. the Hammer in H4 is ridiculously UP compared to its previous iterations. The problems with PoD extend to more than just those. I would Heavily argue that the Shotgun is far more useful than the Sword or Hammer, as the Lunge for the Hammer and Sword got shorter, but the Shotgun’s range increased.
Furthermore, a problem with PoD is map control. Why control the maps power weapon spawns when I can run around and get a power weapon hand delivered? it promotes “cat and mouse” gameplay where players can go quite a while without engaging in combat with one another. It becomes boring.
To many power weapons, Overshield and general power-ups on map at a given time is also a major problem. 343 lowered the despawn times on power weapons to counter this, but it rarely works as the victor is going to pick up the weapon anyway, so it fails as a system.
The pure random factor of PoD can give the winning team a greater lead. especially your 12 kill requirement idea. he is doing well, slaughtering foes, so what, we give him the power to do it better?
PoDs do not work for balanced and fair play. they never will unless its just Ammo and Grenades for your loadout choices. The sooner this is accepted, the better.
So, basically, Personal Ordnance becomes practically even more broken since you will now get 1 random selection of weapons. On top of that, it doesn’t solve any snowball effect Power Weapons give when working with the Ordnance system.

I have to agree with Darkrain491.
It is very hard to find a way to include POD and yet still be balanced.
This was my idea on improving POD:
POD can return but only Powerups to be available as choices.
- Overshield
- Active Camo (No longer AA)
- Speed Boost
- Damage Boost
This is much better than the current system but still has its issues. I still think removing POD from Halo is the best FIX. And best solution.
Your solution to broken PODs is to remove something that isn’t broken so that PODs will be less broken? Nah.

Sry, the Power-ups doesnt work either, as I said, then almost all the time, your facing Overshield, as it is arguably the best. it’s like armour lock except you can shoot and move at the same time in Infinity playlist in Halo 4.

False. Ordinance drops cause unbalanced gameplay, games to snowball out of control, and add randomness. They have no place in a Halo game.
Ordinance drops can also be removed.

Like I said, not perfect. But still an improvement from the current system.
POD maybe something that could be retained in Campaign. But for Match Making and balancing purposes, needs to be removed. There are better things the D-PAd could be used for other than POD.
