Ok, so I know this old news, but it makes me happier now that I thought about it more. I’ve recently been playing Reach, and have noticed teammates camping power weapons more than usually. It really infuriates me to see an idiot crouching at the Sniper spawn on hemorrhage for minutes. I’d start messing around with them, then it turns into a game. It’s just very annoying. At least I go out into the field being productive.
It would really satisfy me to see my camping teammate get owned by the ordnance drop.
For me I find it a good addition because everyone will get a chance to use power weapons so no-one will either have to camp or betray others for them. Also it encourages those who stay back to actually do something.
> Maybe if Blood Gultch wasn’t such a huge open map he wouldn’t need to camp with the sniper. I do the same exact thing!
Hemorrhage isn’t that big. The dmr is superior on the map. Why he doesn’t use it? Idk…but it’s really not necessary to camp something out until it spawns, especially if your Garbo with it… I get around the map easily to get kills. Take a vehicle, go through teleporters or go on the sides of your spawn where the cliffs are. Much action is right there in the middle anyways.

> What’s the matter? Can’t shoot a precision weapon?
Nope, plenty of people can do that. There’s been this idea running through my head lately as to why Halo has lost some players and why CoD has gained some. I’m even getting this idea that CoD does a better job at being Halo then Halo does.
Oh no, people camp for weapons in BTB on huge open maps? Its not like people dont do the same thing in every other game on huge maps with or without PW’s. The same thing will happen with Ordinance drops if not more because people will be able to call down drops anywhere on the map without contest lol. Nothing will keep Hemmorage/Blood Gulch from being a less campy map than it already is.

I was just giving an example. I’m talking about hardcore camping. Setting literally on top of its spawn for an extended time. I don’t think that is fair. I don’t care if you stay somewhere near it, but to literally be on top of it. Come on it’s hilariously ridiculous seeing your teammate crouch on top of it “at there own spawn.” Is it that serious? No one is around.

That is what you call a scrub random, you can find alot of these in Reach these days. That particular scrub is either camping to preserve K/D ratio, or he really doesn’t know how the PW system works and how to time weapons. You would be amazed at how many PW’s I find laying around maps because nobody is timing/controlling them, what is worse is when you get a supposed “Skilled player” on you’re team who suspects you to time weapons for them and yells “WHEN IS ROCKETS COMING UP” when he just got done using them. Drives me nuts.
