ORDINANCE READY--Team Slayer with Fiesta!

Anyone else tired of how flawed the ordinance system is? It has literally made halo a campy fiesta style game. Not to mention, why would I pick grenades when they’re so weak now? Why would I pick Overshield if it is weaker than any other Halo and it depletes faster than ever?

And to make matters worse, the map ordinances are random after the initial spawn, no longer does fighting for a weapon on consistent drops a part of Halo. You may as well sit back in your base when playing Ragnarok, because if you don’t get the laser first, prepare to be screwed with all the vehicles.

Please take out the randomness…

I like the randomness. It’s like most things in life, you never know what you’re going to get.

If they were fixed, matches would always end up the same. Talk about BORING.

Clearly you didn’t play Halo CE-3. Randomness kills any amount of skill. Weapon placement and working as a team to get them was fun. You want random spawn with whatever weapon you want, there’s Black Ops 2 tonight. Not saying your play preference is bad, but apparently I’m of the dying breed of old school Halo fans who can’t stand the series after Reach

Simple fix- Both teams recieve the same cycle of ordnance drops. I.E first team picks between 3 weapons/powerups, and when 2nd team unlcok ordnance, they get the choice between those same 3 weapons/powerups. I like infinity slayer, but I agree, there’s no excuse for randomness when it’s not needed.

Oh, and they should balance the choices more- Nobodie with two neurons in their brain would pick frag grenades over a saw…Just no.

By “end up the same” do you mean fair and skill based gameplay?

That’s a good way of looking at it! I think fixed ordinances would benefit that game. I’m NOT SAYING ORDINANCE IS BAD, I’m saying the RANDOMNESS it creates is terrible.
