Personal ordinance would be an amazing setting for firefight. It’s extremely annoying to have every single player running round with a power weapon in matchmaking. Your thoughts?

hmm, the point of firefight is for ammo and good weapons to get scarce, not for you be able to say “oh crap, I’m out, well guess I can just call in ordnance”. Maybe they could have a mode for it, but plain old firefight should not have it.
Make it drop grenades, ammo and a half power weapon like the needler. Have a 10% chance of a power up or power weapon thus solving the problem of way too many PWs being on the map without removing this interesting feature.
Also increase how many points that are required to obtain one by roughly 25-35%

If it were ODST Firefight style I would 100% agree with you. I loved that Firefight. I still play it on occasion with friends.
More arcade style like Reach was, I think this idea would have worked rather well. You basically had unlimited ammo in that game anyways. All you had to do was go to the ammo locker and load up again.
