Ordance Drops?

Hey guys just wondering, why most of my ordance give me low class weapons, like the needler and speed boost and grenades whilst the other team i saw gets rocket lanuches, snipers and shotguns and they are were winning. Also during other games while i was winning i still got the same old weapons. I get sprees and i am talented with the sniper but never get the chance with the drops as i dont have enough ammo to carry on.

Do any of you find this annyoing?

The Needler is a great weapon. It requires close-range input, but it’s fantastic when your unleashing it’s potential. Speed boost isn’t useless either. Fast running speed with Dexterity? Sign me up. Grenades? Those are in every drop, so don’t worry about those.

Other then that, the drops could correspond to your playstyle(?) Or if you are just good, and don’t need fancy weapons. What really irks me about the system is, it gives me unfitting weapons on unfitting maps. A Sniper Rifle on Haven? How am I going to use that?

That’s a complaint people have with the O-drops, they’re almost totally random (almost because you can’t expect the incendiary cannon to come up as often as a needler and that’s good). You have to do with what you were given and adapt to the situation the best you can. If you’re really never happy with the drops, you should try the specialization (I think it’s called “tracker”, I have it but forgot the name lol) it allows you to ask for another ordinance and, if you’re lucky, you’ll get something you want, or at least want more than the first choices.

I noticed that the “left choice” is almost always either grenades or shotgun/scattershot, the “bottom choice” mostly gives you a saw or needler and the “right choice” seems to be only boosts (speed/damage/overshield). I’m talking about team slayer though.

I agree about the needler, it just has too little ammunitions and the most difficult part to get kills with it is being at the right distance from your enemy, the needler requires a pretty “accurate range”, you easy end up being too far or too close.

Fast running? Pick up a sword and use the speed boost that’s such a great combo.

A sniper rifle on Haven? It can be useful if used properly. For example, I was seeing the whole enemy team at the end of the hall way trying to fight my entire team (downstairs). I took the sniper rifle, staid far away and got a few kills plus assists with it and I helped a lot my team to win the battle.

Easy? lol If your any good with the sniper you can use it on Haven to your advantage.

I’m not too good with the sniper rifle. The only problem is the some obscured sight-lines, and how Haven is mostly a CQC map. I know you can make it viable, but it doesn’t really fit the map in particular is what I’m getting at.

I’m a bit disappointed with the crap Ordinance Drops I get most of the time…
Is it too much to ask for a F***ING RAILGUN???

-_-

I checked and it is the tracker specialization you need to choose new ordinance drops

> “The Requisition armor mod allows users the ability to recall their own ordnance requests in order to acquire more helpful weapons in the field.

I used to pick “requisition” + “Ordnance Priority” so I can get more ordinances with the latter and more choices with the tactical package. The problem with “Ordnance Priority” is that I just don’t notice the difference and it forces me to sacrifice “dexterity”.
