ordance drops, gametypes & maps

Hi,

It has been said that ordnance drops will only take place on certain game types (please correct me if I am wrong).

I would imagine that they would be taking place on only some, not all maps.There obviously can not be ordnance drops for indoor maps such as Reflection, Zealot, Anchor 9 and Condemned, for example. So, there must be the traditional power weapon spawn points for indoor maps. That is, unless there are not going to be any indoor maps as there has been in the past.

Any thoughts?

This is true; the ordnance drops will only be on select gametypes. This is also true for that instant respawn system as well.

At the start of each map, power weapons will spawn like they’ve always have in Halo. After the initial rush and when players pick them up, the ordnance drops will cycle randomly in predetermined locations on the map.

Though i’ve seen some weird talk in interviews/Neo Gaf that you can stock an ordnance drop and decide where the next one will be so you can force the other team into a trap of sorts.

I dont know how it will work, 343 will probably give more information on the subject of ordinance drops after E3.
