First off I think o drops are ok but kind of dumb. I mean come on one guy gets needles and the other gets rockets or a sniper. How is this even a possibility to have in the game? there is also the chance you just have to die 10 times and you get a o drop. I dont know how some one could be that bad, to get rewarded a power weapon for dying seems silly.
o drops are not at all balanced what so ever but it is fun to get a rocket while the other guy gets two frag grenede. it feels like im shooting at bottles, they just explode. I want PvP to be balanced and unlucky o drops unbalance it. then again thats only one of many things that is wrong with this game. Balance is not in 343 dictionary.

The Ordnance drops are so -Yoink–backwards it’s not even funny. You don’t even need to get kills, just get some assists and -BOOM!- Saw/Sniper/Needler right there in front of you.

People love bypassing the world filter I swear…
All what needs to be done is tune the randomness more. But on the other hand I like when I get the Sniper. Beats anything when I wanna snipe on Valhalla but the damn thing hasn’t respawned yet.
Of course, for example: you can get a sniper almost in any map.
But who said you’re good with the sniper?
Probably if you don’t know how to use it suitably, you’ll just get assists. Or even failing to TOUCH the enemy with a bullet. :True Story:
Ordnance drops not = Free Kills.
Even with a rocket, people miss 3 rockets out of 4 or even all of the rockets.
> I personally don’t see anything wrong with the ordinance. It gives everyone a chance.
No one deserves a chance, the game is competitive, it should not give a free pass to someone who isn’t any good because if it dose this it causes problems for other players and dose not encourage the other lucky player to get better.
I do think the drops are a good idea but most are power weapons and the buffs are mental as well, this just makes a mess for other players.
i once got shot while in a mantis by 2 incineration cannons a rail gun an a beam rifle(maybe more IDK), this number of power weapons breaks the game.
I guess one of the problems I have with it is there are to many power weapons that come up. It makes every other average weapon almost worthless or unusable. The strong power weapons you should have to fight for using the other weapons you could get through O drops. this makes more sence to me. a way to keep o drops and to have a better use of the weaker power weapons.
a weaker team will lose to the stronger team no matter o drops or no o drops. but in a evenly matched game o drops can deside who wins or loses. I dont get a feeling we out played the other team in that sinario just got lucky o drops. its disapointing.
Even so if I have a 15+ spree and it gets ruined by a random rocket that should not be there, I’m effect. I know we still blow them out, but there should be no crutch at all
you all see ordinance as a crutch. but regardless of the fact that you might recieve a power weapon in a drop, a majority of them take some skill to use. Not everyone is good with a sniper or a binary rifle, not everyone knows how to shoot the railgun properly, hell even rockets arent a guaranteed one shot kill. the only weapon you can get for ordinance that is an easy one shot kill is the incendiary cannon just because of its room clearing blast radius.
you also make it seems like people get these awesome weapons every single time, well thats not true either. in fact 90% of the time the drops are useless, needler, grenades, speed boost. if youre even lucky enough to get a decent drop youd be even luckier to not get swarmed right after picking it up. you have something like a 1 in 200 chance to get an I.C in a drop. i know ive personally only gotten it once. In fact its a great day for ordinance if i see two concussion rifles a day, not that i would use those.
speaking of boosts, The only thing those do is falsely increase peoples confidence. which is immediately shot down by the fact that they run into the open and get shot at by everyone.
the truth here is that the only people ordinance drops really help are the skilled players. because unskilled players, no matter how lucky will never be able to out luck skill for a win.
Running to the nearest power-weapon in the days of old wasn’t skill either. You remember getting beat to the rockets or sniper rifle by the incompetent guy that just happened to spawn closer?
It’s hard to balance the power weapons for skill. Random drops I feel are on par with map-spawned items. Any random idiot can get a hold of them either way with some dumb luck.

You’re wrong. This never happened in H3 except in FFA games, where luck is always a factor.
In competitive team games, the distance was the same to all power weapons, especially on maps like The Pit. On other maps that weren’t symmetrical, each side had different spawns that allows them to get different weapons.

Irregardless of wether or not that person is good with the weapons they recieved from the ordinance, someone who performs poorly should NEVER be rewarded for it.
As much as I hate to say this, I with Ordinance drops were more like CoD. You only get them if you get so many kills without dying. If you die the counter resets.
