in halo 4 matchmaking, there should be options, like a toggle switch to search based on speed, or skill. if you want to find a quick game, you can search based on speed. if you want to find a good game with people around your skill level, you can do that too.
and dont say ‘BUT IN REACH’ because matchmaking in reach does nothing. its a myth. anyone who is relatively decent at reach will tell you matchmaking doesnt actually exist. randoms vs randoms is about as high tech as matchmaking is in reach.

even though there’s the option to search by skill and good connectivity in Reach, i also feel that’s it totaly not working since i go from winning games by at least 20 kills to being completely shut down by the next team and loose by th same margin… Matchmaking is broken and hopefully H4 fixes it (maybe if more players are online it will automatically make it easier for the matchmaking system to find suitable opponents…)
