Options for more violence in Halo infinite

So, I’m fresh off of this year’s XBOX/Bethesda showcase and I saw the halo infinite light multiplayer/campaign reveals, they were brief and left me wanting more, but upon inspection I realized something. The general
absence of blood. Now, I understand Halo Infinite is rated T for teen, but I feel like I speak for much more than just myself in desiring the spilling of blood, alien and human alike, so I’ve come to a compromise that might be feasible and marketably convenient for 343 since they’re set on appealing to younger audiences. If possible, can 343 implement a free or (If they’re so inclined) purchasable add-on to put blood back into halo? The degree of separation from the base game would allow it to keep the T Rating while the add-on would raise it to M only for the people who got it. I don’t want to wait a whole development cycle again to have blood back in halo, nor do I want to force 343 into an uncomfortable business position. I know why the age rating was lowered, and I’m willing to swallow that bitterness, so if we can at least get this compromise, I’ll be happy. I hope to have many great and gory fights in the future, and I really hope this can reach the eyes and ears of Devs at 343i!

Blood has been gone for a long time.

Doesn’t mean people can’t want it back though.

I think I’ve seen companies bypass ratings just by making a DLC that adds blood and stuff.
Wouldn’t mind it if they did something like this but I highly doubt they will.

I could see something like Jedi fallen order happening. The game releases on PC, and there are mods to add dismemberment into the game. With mod support promised, I could see this being a possible in halo infinite, at least on PC.

I wasn’t disagreeing with you. It just seemed like you didn’t know per the phrasing.

To me spraying blood everywhere is kind of a played out feature and doesn’t really fit in the overall feel of Halo, unless they introduce the also played out zombie mode.

Yeah I’d love to see blood return to Halo: CE levels personally.

I don’t know about blood but their was the nude dlc for the strippers. Think it was Mafia.

But God I don’t want to start paying for blood. Like can’t kids see a little blood? Like you never cut yourself when playing as a kid and saw your own blood?

Yeah it bugs me alot too, but ultimately we don’t have much control over ESRB and as much as I’d like it not to be this way, putting our money where our mouths are is really the best way to entice big companies like Microsoft. I really hope we don’t have to pay them more but if we really have to pay to get blood and guts, so be it, I’m a fan of violence.

Doesn’t mean they will get it back by demanding it.

I wish Halo was more violent and bloody. The gravity hammer should turn enemies into pools of blood, the spikers should tear limbs off, the plasma weapons should burn holes into enemies, the energy sword should cut enemies in half, ETC. I want to hear my enemies scream in agony and fear. It would make the covenant especially the brutes seem much more brutal. It would also make it feel like you really are in a war and that you are an unstoppable killing machine.

Dude, I think Halo’s the wrong for you.
If you’re looking for flying limbs and guts everywhere, GoW and Doom are rather your cup of tea.

Looks like it won’t happen but at least the game looks (not just visuals) great. And that is far more important than blood.

I think OP wants it visual on walls and floor as well. The little splurts were never really gone I believe, but since H4 I don’t think it was ever visible on the surroundings anymore.

Demand? Did you even read OP’s post? He’s pretty far from “demanding” anything. He asked, quite politely, and even proposed a compromise

I really just hope that the campaign/pve lets us paint the floor with Covvie blood. I get/am okay with no blood splattering in MP.

I wasn’t talking about the OP in particular, but “people” in general.
Looks like you haven’t read my post nor the other threads that frequently pop up every now and then, which I was referring to.

Well considering your post was just “Blood has been gone for a long time,” I’m pretty sure I read it. Also, you were the first one to comment on the thread and quoted OP. Why would anyone assume you weren’t talking about him in particular?

edit: probably because you aren’t the first one I replied to. That’s on me, but my point to that poster still stand and I definitely don’t think OP is demanding anything. And I was talking about him in particular
