There should be a toggle in each player’s menu that allows you to turn off assassination animations. I think the animation is a good feature to have optional as I’m sure there are many people who like it.
I never want to animate, for any reason. I can already count a few times where I have done so accidentally. Seeing as how it’s a feature that can accidentally be triggered, as well as get you killed, I think we should be able to turn it off if we choose to do so.
I have spoken to several people who have also complained of accidentally triggering the animation, so it’s not just me. This is something that should really be addressed before skill based ranking comes out.
