This needs to be a thing. The last thing any player wants is to be joining in progress and:

Jump into a Dominion Game losing 350 - 10 with the enemy having captured all the bases.

Jump into an Infection Game in round 3 with the top player already at 130 points vs your 0.

Jump into Slayer with an enemy team all set up with their DMRs and Power Weapons winning 500 - 100.

Jump into Regicide within 5 kills (or one Regicide) of the end of the game.
This is plaguing the enjoyment players get playing this game.
Not to mention that it gives you generally more losses than wins.
I think a JIP option would be much better than removing it completely.
JIP needs to be fixed, not made an option. While the majority of the time it does give you crappy matches, its also saved me from a horrid match.
JiP is fine when it works.

Oh no, you might lose a game.
How I would fix JiP
- Count DNF games as 2 losses, 3 if they use the in game quit button.
- Nothing else.
It works as intended, sometimes you get placed on the losing team, sometimes the winning team. VERY rarely am I ever put on a team that has no chance of ever coming back (total disclosure, I play mostly slayer). In SOME objective games, it would be better to have a concession button for remaining players when down 3-0 on CtF or whatever, but they don’t.
One thing that has confused me about JIP is when it doesn’t work. I’ve gone into matches 5-2, not thinking too much about it as I knew (or expected at least) teamates to drop in. Then nothing, an entire match of getting trounced.
To stop JiP hit start go down to network and change it to ‘My Xbox 360’ and then change it back to Xbox live it should back you out
JIP is a good solution to the old quitting problem leaving you without a team, but it does have problems. Making it an option would be much better. Those who don’t care will continue to fill the holes in teams, why those who are only happy playing a full game can avoid JIP.
