Can we mute the Ai and Spartan chatter? I didn’t see an option to do so and it really doesn’t feel like classic halo with it on. If there’s no option please add jt

Well Halo Infinite isn’t supposed to be a copy of classic Halo, but an evolution of it. The chatter lets you know when drops are coming in, that the flag is stolen, etc. So removing it would actually put you at a disadvantage, and 343 has made it clear that disadvantages of that type are not going to be in Infinite, which is the reason that playable elites were rejected. So I’m not sure that 343 will add an option to turn it off.

It’s silly, the announcer already covered all the essentials like flag being stolen or dropped etc

Well that still doesn’t cover the weapon drops, which are pretty important.

It does the announcer did ordinance drops in halo 4… not that it matters as all players should memorize power weapon spawns with time.
Well I agree that there should be an option to remove it, I just don’t think its likely to happen.

The game’s already been set up for the chatter to cover that stuff, so it would be redundant for 343 to have the announcer do it too.

I’ve been timing weapon drops off the clock since Halo 2
Honestly I’m a little upset that 343 has taken away the little edge I always had. Now everyone gets a bright loud alert that power weapons are about to spawn
You can disable Spartan Chatter.
Control Panel -> Settings -> Audio -> Spartan Chatter (Second-to-last option).
