Hi Spartans!
Halo 5 aiming gets many complaints. Knowledgeable comments call attention to the addition of Look Acceleration (although dead zones are mentioned also).
You can turn acceleration down but you can’t turn it off. Many people over-shoot their aiming because of LA.
Everyone who wants to option to set Look Acceleration to 0, please post here so we can get 343’s attention with a very active post.

I too would like Look Acceleration to 0. However first I’d like them to fix the terrible servers for EU.
Agree but fix your title as you opened this as Aim assist not Look acceleration.
My aim does feel better with the deazones set to 0 but LA set to 0 would make my aim settings perfect.

That’s how much attention certain people pay while they are gaming…
I’m still tweaking my control settings. But I set everything to how beta was, I think… Feels different.
Aim assist or look acceleration?? Because I feel the aim assist is low and good enough.
Anyway I play on look acceleration 1 and sensitivity 3 and sometimes feel that is so quick but you get used to it’ll be interesting to try the acceleration 0.

I loved the aiming in the Beta and Halo 4. No matter what I do to the settings, I can’t get it to feel like the Beta or Halo 4 settings. I just played on look sens 4 in Beta and Halo 4 and it was perfect. Now I am adjusting things all over the place and my aim has gone to poop as a result.
I could hit pretty much every shot in previous games. I watched a game clip of mine from a couple days ago and I was either over-correcting way past targets or not moving enough to get to them depending on what settings I used.
I have been a die hard Halo fan since before XBOX Live and this is messing me up. Have always had a 50 in Halo’s of the past and currently have an Onyx rating in FFA.
I know what the aim should feel like. I just can’t get it there even with a firm understanding of all these adjustable settings.
