I just watched a video on how the mp beta ran on a rx580. Just for context this is a legitimate ad for a rx580 for sale Gigabyte RX580 8G Graphic Card | Fruugo AU. Its $1700 AUD. Watching the youtube video to see how the game should run on my card was very disheartening. If it were up to me I’d have already purchased my Xbox series x console and would not be worried about the performance on 1080 card. But as you guys no doubt know its been borderline impossible to grab a console at rrp and at this point I refuse to fund a scalpers scam. Please 343, don’t leave pc gamers out of luck, meaning to enjoy your game you’ll need to pay a scamper for a new gfx card. The majority of the recent games run really well on the rx580 at 1080, there’s no true reason you guys can’t manage that. Please with how crazy things are with Covid and scalpers, make optimisation a reasonably high thing on your list of things to do. I’m really looking forward to playing this. The Rx580 is capable at 1080 on everything up to 'ow, please continue this to bf the case. I look forward to your title arriving, I hope it can run well. Oh and for those about to suggest grabbing a second hand Xbox one X, if I have to I probably will, but this is a plea to get 343 to step up a bit do I won’t have to. Thanks, I’ve been do impressed by the way MS have dealt with this gen, thzt I’ve decided to grab the Series X FIRSTLY when I can. Releasing a poorly optimised game would go against everything uou guys have done since releasing the current gen console, you’ve been fantastic, please don’t let quite a few gamers down. I mean font most pc gamers game on a 1060? I’m sure you guys will step up.

You are judging the game off a May build. It is quite possible that the requirements are more for Campaign than MP.

I would be cautious to buy a One X. The Tech Preview ran on 30 fps and unless this changes in the release build and we have confirmation, I would strongly advise against that.
yeah the preview was optimised like absolute -Yoink-. there were some tweaks you could do with driver settings but sby default things were unoptimisted and misconfigured, fair enough considering it is a preview build and an old one at that. a 580 is well above the minimum requirements so you should be able to run it, albeit not at the nicest settings. as long as the game runs on older hardware it’s fine imo.
i watched couple videos from youtube, even with no optimization i would say the game ran well on gtx 1050ti on high setting with little above 30fps. i think it’s safe to say it’s get better alot by final build.
in case if anyone wondering they also fixed the 900 series problem.
