Optimistic About Halo 3 Stats!

Ok first off this is my first forum I have written so I hope it comes out good.
This topic is regarding Halo 3 stats.

I know a lot of people have been demoralized about the fact that Bungie stopped tracking Halo 3 stats and that 343 did not continue tracking them themselves. A lot of people are saying they don’t have future plans to do anything about them and a lot of people are saying they are. As for myself I remain optimistic about seeing updated Halo 3 stats in the future and being able to see detailed stats here on Halo Waypoint.

Here is my reason for this, before I played Halo 3 I got on Reach and viewed my Halo legacy stats. I then put in Halo 3 played a few games, switched back to Reach viewed my legacy stats again and noticed that my games played and mp kills did increase. That is proof that something is in fact being tracked. Now I don’t know whether my medals are being recored or not. However there is still some kind of Halo 3 tracking going on. This is why like I said am pretty optimistic we may see in the future updated Halo 3 stats on Waypoint.

I am tired of people complaining how their Halo 3 stats are not being recored and why 343 can’t do it. It must not be hard to just put our Halo 3 sats on Waypoint? Wrong. 343 is working extremely hard to prepare for the Halo 4 launch (which is going to be big) by making sure Halo 4 is 100% ready and making sure the Halo 4 stats tracking is 100% ready. Also on top of that they still work on updates for Reach. Those are much more important right now then Halo 3 and if I worked for 343 I would make Halo 4 my priority too.

Maybe in the future Halo 3 stats will never be updated and not seen on Waypoint. But just remember everyone who is impatient about Halo 3 stats the day may come where the stats will show up again. Just let 343 get caught up and finish Halo 4 and maybe in 2013 you may see your stats come. Just remember your mp kills and games played are still being tracked so you may be surprised in the future. Or you may not, just be patient and wait to see what happens.

Please people comment on what I just said I wan’t to hear anyones opinion regarding what I just wrote.

They in their announcement that they have no plans for in-depth statistics at this current time.

It is likely we will see them in the future after Halo 4’s release when they’ve actually got time to develop all of it, it isn’t as simple as just slapping someone’s K/D, Medals & game history on a website and clicking make Public, it takes a long time to make sure the pages work and features alike.

I am aware that they have no plans at this time to have in depth stats on Halo 3. And I also know it isn’t simple to just post stats on Waypoint. I kind of said that in my topic. Like I said I am optimistic they may do it in the future based on seeing my Mp kills and games played being updated on my Legacy stats in Reach. If they don’t I won’t be mad and I totally understand. I support 343 and I know they are doing all they can right now. I’m just tired of seeing people posting that 343 is lazy and don’t care for the Halo community because thats not true.

Rats! I just made a new topic questioning how I can view my stats. Well I guess this answers my question. Hopefully 343 implements the option soon.

Yeah man the only place you can view detailed Halo 3 stats is Bungie.net or Halotracker.com. That is if you played before Bungie stopped the stats tracking for Halo 3. If you didn’t them im sorry to say you may or may not ever see detailed stats for Halo 3. Other then that you can use Halo Reach’s Legacy stats to only view your kills and game played which that actually updates :slight_smile:
