I’ve mostly been playing the multiplayer and not the campaign. I’m thinking about playing it soon but I’ve been reading feedback about how it’s not worth the time. I know I can’t judge the campaign if I haven’t played it. I just want to know the opinions of others about the campaign and what everyone thinks about it before I begin. Halo is one of my most favorite game series and I’m looking forward to start it.
Yes its worth it. Don’t listen to all these trolls on the forums just go play the game instead.
I thought it was a pretty good campaign, go ahead and play it 
Definitely play the campaign. Make your own opinion based off of what you think and not what others are crying about. Personally I really enjoy the story. Others will tell you differently.

Disagree. Not everyone who doesn’t really like the story is a troll.
And I’m not a multiplayer only kinda guy…I care about campaign most, just didn’t like the direction it took at all.
Campaign definitely worth it
It is a great campaign. Some people don’t like the twist to it though.
I really enjoyed the campaign, don’t listen to the haters. Looks like most reviewers got on the same bash train
If you already bought the game, you might as well play the campaign. It’s not great though and once it really gets interesting, it ends.

It’s a great campaign
I enjoyed the Halo 5 campaign more than Halo 4’s. That said, a lot of people found it to be really short. I played on heroic and it took me about 8 hours to complete, but i think most people who played on normal and only took them 5 hours to beat.
Great campaign and great story, BUT they promised us 15 missions. Well, in some way we got it, but for me talking with citizens or with Palmer it’s not a mission
The story is bad but there are a couple fun gameplay moment.

The camapign’s story is really what’s dividing people. The gameplay is as good, if not better, than any other halo campaign.
Story is awesome…
It is just the shortest game I have played in my life. You can beat it all in 2 hours and still get the story.
PvP is one mode P2W, the other is okay…
Game is pretty -Yoink-…I wanted to like it, but its just a pretty -Yoink- game.
I was let down by the campaign sadly.
Finished the first four missions and it was pretty mundane and boring for me.

If you have it play it, it has really good moment’s.
I think the issue is, people wanted what was advertised and Halo 5’s advertisements are categorically a lie. (Almost ironic when you realize its called hunt the truth).
Halo 5 has the same issue Halo 4 has, and really the same issue Halo 2 had. Its the middle game in a multi-game saga. People feel like there’s no resolution, there’s not suppose to be. This is the outcome of Halo 4’s events, just like Halo 4 was the outcome of Halo 3’s events, and they use this game to set the table for Halo 6. If this story has one flaw its that, we will likely not see its outcome for 2-3 years and THAT is the real issue.
