hey guys, so after playing on my PC I can never go back to playing on console because of the diff in FPS. 30 console vs 60 on PC. My question is, I still choose to use the controller but I have played Starcraft for many years. If I learn the hotkeys for M&KB does it make you faster? I believe micro would be a lot easier with a mouse but as for building because of the radius menu does it really matter? Just curious what everyone else uses and why… thanks for your input guys!
edit : with the mouse you can also click your mini map to jump to a certain battle or base on the map right? Like Starcraft?
What console are toy using to have this game cap at 30?

The only console you can play it on…
So I have near no xp on HW2 at the moment (just started it) however I spent alot of hours on sc2 and hw1. Id say the biggest advantage of mouse/kb is unit micro. its super easy to split units and get good surrounds/pullbacks with the freedom of mouse control + the advantage of control groups for easier micro of units like snipers and kodiaks. From a macro stand point there is very little in it as you cant control group production buildings or anything like that.

I play on both console and PC and it’s not too different from my experience, are you snapping back a lot or…
Then again I’m not a native PC RTS person either, games I play with mouse and keyboard are all shooters.

Thank you for your reply, I assumed that much. When I watch PC stream with m&kb I don’t see hotkeys for the buildings so your def right about the macro side… I also agree with the micro, but I’ve never used control groups in hw2 like I do in SC2. One thing I do like is that u can click the mini map vs scrolling with a controller. Thanks again for your input !

Lol yea I’ve been told many times even my Scorpio console only puts out 30 FPS vs PC 60 FPS. I personally feel a huge different from console to pc with the fluidity of the game .
